Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Logral handles information when you use our habit tracker. For privacy questions or requests, contact the operator of Logral at hello@arthantyo.com.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, public username, a salted password hash, your device’s timezone at signup, optional website and social-profile links, and the account creation date.
• Habit information: habit names, creation dates, and the dates you check in.
• Sign-in information: session records and their expiry times, and email-based authentication attempts used to limit repeated attempts.
• Subscription information: your Polar customer and subscription identifiers, product, subscription status, renewal date, and cancellation status. Polar collects the email, payment, billing, and tax information needed to process your purchase; Logral does not store your full card details.
• Correspondence: your email address and information you choose to provide when you contact us.

What is public

Your username, optional website and social-profile links, public habit names, public habit check-in history, and profile timezone are available to anyone who visits your public profile, including people without an account. Habits you mark private are visible only in your dashboard. Public information may be copied or indexed by others. Your email address, password hash, and session records are not included in your public profile. Avoid recording sensitive or confidential information in public habits.

How we use information

We use account and habit information to provide your journal, display your public profile, authenticate you, and calculate daily check-ins in your timezone. We use authentication records to help prevent abuse, and correspondence to answer questions and handle requests. We will not use your account email for marketing unless you separately choose to receive it.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, providing the service relies on performing our agreement with you; security and support rely on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting Logral. We may also process information to meet legal obligations.

Cookies

Logral uses an essential cookie named logral_session to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out clears that cookie and removes the associated session. Blocking it prevents authenticated features from working. The application does not include advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

Sharing and service providers

Your public journal is shared as described above. Polar processes subscription payments, billing details, taxes, receipts, and subscription management as our payment and merchant-of-record provider. Hosting and email providers may process information as needed to run the service and handle correspondence. Requests to the hosting infrastructure may generate technical logs, such as IP addresses and request details. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service and people’s rights.

Retention and security

Account, habit, and subscription-status records are kept to provide your journal and paid subscription until deletion is requested and processed, subject to financial and other legal retention requirements. Polar may retain transaction records as required for payments, taxes, disputes, and compliance. Contact us to request deletion; there is currently no self-service account deletion control.

Sessions expire after 30 days, and expired session records are cleaned up on a subsequent successful sign-in. Authentication attempt records older than 15 minutes are cleaned up on subsequent authentication requests; successful authentication clears attempts for that email address. Correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations.

Passwords are stored as salted hashes, and session tokens are hashed in storage. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Copies of your public information held by others may remain after deletion from Logral.

Your choices and rights

You can undo today’s check-in in your dashboard. Email hello@arthantyo.com to request access, correction, a copy of your data, or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to portability, restriction of processing, and objection to processing. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting on a request.
